Silfloc® is a based reagent to be used as a flocculant in:
- Drinking water treatment (Spanish Royal Decree 140/2003 and Orden SAS 1915/2009)
- Urban wastewater treatment
- Industrial wastewater tretament
It should be noted that of special interest that Silfloc® meets UNE-EN 1209:1998 Standard without the limitations in use that exist with other flocculants - regulated by governmental control.
Its activation takes places in situ by means of the addition of specific reagents using the Saosil Equipment, generating activated silica.
This equipment is design in accordance with the client specifications. Due to its compact size the surface required is small; it works continuously and totally automated in safety conditions; its easy operation and maintenance (O&M) makes it an advantage.
Our Technical Department studies each case in particular and offers a Tailor made Solution to the client:
- Laboratory analysis. Prior to a Pilot Test, we estimate not only the viability of using Silfloc® but the optimal working conditions.
- Pilot Test at the client’s facility. It allows an optimization of the results obtained during the laboratory analysis.
- Continuous Technical Advice.
