Synthetic Fibers: Polymerizing catalyst. Introduction of SO3 radicals.

Paper: Anti-chlorine agent after bleaching with hypochlorite.

Surfactants: Reactive in manufacture of sodium alkyl-sulfosuccinate.

Textiles: Antichlorine in bleaching baths. Wool bleaching.
